Ron Dennis has said that there is still no deal to supply Prodrive with a customer chassis and perhaps engine in 2008. Prodrive will enter Formula 1 in 2008 and will most likely buy a chassis from an existing team.
Speaking to F1 Racing McLaren team boss Ron Dennis said: "The only conversation I've had with David Richards (Prodrive team boss) has been about the possibility - and it remains only a possibility at this stage - of McLaren Marketing supporting him in his efforts to fund Prodrive's F1 programme."
"I'd never rule out having a partnership with another F1 team, but it would be somewhat premature to say it will be Prodrive."
