Williams end Spanish test early

The Williams Formula 1 team will not continue their test session at Circuit de Catalunya. The team decided to pack their bags and continue their work at home in the factory. This morning Nico Rosberg crashed heavily in his first run and the damaged car could not be repaired in time to continue testing.

Williams technical director Sam Michael said: "Nico went off on his first run this morning, and had a crash that resulted in heavy chassis damage. Nico is fine, however the damage can not be repaired at the circuit so the test team is now returning to the factory."
On Thursday most teams will continue testing at Circuit de Catalunya.
