Valencia to host European GP in 2008?
10 May 2007This afternoon there will be a press conference in Valencia, Spain, where Bernie Ecclestone will announce that the city in the South of Spain will host the European Grand Prix in 2008, according to speculation in the Spanish media.

The street circuit would go through the centre and the harbour of Valencia. The Grand Prix should not be seen as a threat to the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona, even though Barcelona and Valencia are within 350 kilometres of each other.
In February McLaren driver Fernando Alonso did a spectacular demonstration run through the streets of Valencia.
