Hamilton receives Schumi praise

Michael Schumacher has praised the debut that Lewis Hamilton has made in Formula One. At a press conference at the Spanish Grand Prix, the retired seven-time world champion was once again in front of the microphone. Although reluctant to talk about other drivers, he did say that Hamilton has done very well but that he expected it having seen his performances in GP2 last season.

"He has done a very good job," the German said.

"However, I'm not that surprised having seen him in some races last year. He is very well prepared and quick. He is basically getting the job done."
