Honda is making progress - Klien
23 May 2007Honda test and reserve driver Christian Klien insists his team is making progress and improving its disasterous 2007 car. Klien believes the team can take another small step forward this weekend after a positive test at Paul Ricard last week.
"Last week's test was really good," Klien said. "I did a lot of laps on the first day and felt we made a performance improvement. We have some new aerodynamic developments to suit the high downforce requirements of Monaco. It was windy, but the wind was consistent so it was still a useful day. I got back into the car again on Thursday at about 3pm, but unfortunately the engine problem stopped after 25 laps which was a pity. However, the team worked really well all week and it's good to see that the hard work is taking us in the right direction. We understand more and more about the car and, from my own side, it was good to jump into it and be up to speed again."
