Kovalainen doesn't expect miracles in Monaco

24 May 2007

Heikki Kovalainen believes the team made good progress at Paul Ricard's test session last week. The Finn however is realistic and realises the Monaco Grand Prix won't bring the team any miracles just yet.

Speaking about the team's progress Kovalainen said: "The car's improving and we're still working on the main cause of our problems. It was a bit better at Paul Ricard but the best were still ahead of us. So we're reasonably optimistic but there won't be a huge leap forward.

Speaking about the Monaco Grand Prix the Finn said: "We think it'll probably be better for Renault this weekend, but the teams in front of us will still be very quick. Having said that, anything can happen in Monaco. We might have our best weekend of the season. Who knows?"
