Alonso enjoys 'easiest' win of career

Fernando Alonso's victory at the Monaco Grand Prix marked McLaren's 150th race win and the Spaniard admitted that this was his easiest win to date. The double-world champion also revealed that he has been pleasantly surprised by the team's dominant pace this weekend.

Alonso said: "It has been a fantastic weekend no doubt and to score this hat trick: pole, fastest lap and race win is something very special and even more so at Monaco. I enjoyed today's race with the perfect car all through the race. It was so good to drive. I think it has been a nice surprise to see how the team was performing this weekend. I have 16 or 17 wins in my career and I never won by more than one minute to the third guy. This is probably the easiest victory so far."
