Horner sees Red Bull team move up

04 June 2007

Red Bull Racing team boss Christian Horner believes his team is going into the right direction at the moment. Even though the team wasn't able to show its true speed in the streets of Monaco Horner believes there is every reason to be positive about the team's current performance.

Speaking to Speed TV Horner said: "The car had good pace, and we would have been able to compete with Fisichella and give him a hard time. Ultimately we came away with nothing. We've just got to brush ourselves down and focus on the next event in Canada.

"We got two cars to Q3 for the first time ever, and the pace looked strong with less preparation time than some of our immediate competitors. If we can take that into Canada, I think we can run pretty strongly there. The mechanical failure that we had wasn't anything we've seen previously, it was a rare Renault issue, and we'll go to Montreal and hopefully come back with a handful of points."
