Alonso happy with team's performance

Fernando Alonso, currently leading the Formula 1 championship, is happy with McLaren's current form. The team is leading the constructors' championship and drivers championship with Alonso and Hamilton in first and second.

"We need to wait and see how the championship develops but it has been a very good start for the team and Lewis as well," Alonso told Daily Mail.

"Thanks to everyone's points we are doing great in both championships. Does his (Hamilton's) success motivate me? No, I'm always motivated," said the Spaniard.
