New aerodynamics for Toro Rosso

New aerodynamics for Toro Rosso

05 June 2007

The Scuderia Toro Rosso team is getting closer and closer to scoring the team's first point of the 2007 Formula 1 season. To achieve this goal the team will bring a new front and rear wing to Canada Toro Rosso's technical director Ascanelli said.

Giorgio Ascanelli said about the team's improvements for the upcoming weekend: "We will be running new front and rear wings to suit the low downforce nature of the track. The front wing also requires new bargeboards and all these items will have their first track test on Friday.

"For now, we will have to trust in wind tunnel data. Of course we also bring new braking solutions to this track, which is the hardest on brakes, while also keeping some elements of our Monaco package as Montreal is also a soft tyre, bumpy circuit. There are further changes aimed at improving reliability."
