Monaco loss will help Ferrari's Canada form - Massa

Felipe Massa says Ferrari's comprehensive defeat in Monaco will in fact give the team a better chance of doing well around the demanding Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Canada this weekend. Massa believes that the fact he ended up not pushing very hard in Monaco when it was clear his car was no match for the McLarens means that Ferrari can be more confident of reliability in Canada this weekend.

"Although you can never be 100 per cent sure, I think we have an engine that is strong in terms of reliability and added to that is the fact we did not push it too hard in Monaco," Massa said. 

Ferrari has traditionally been very strong in Canada and Indianapolis - the next two rounds of the championship
