Alonso remains first in final practice - Vettel in second

After being fastest in Friday's first and second practice McLaren driver Fernando Alonso was also fastest in Saturday's free practice. Biggest surprise though was rookie driver Sebastian Vettel who set the second fastest time on the clocks.

The Grand Prix weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway continued on Saturday in sunny conditions. It was, just like Friday, a day without any major problems for any of the drivers.

McLaren drivers Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton look strong at the US track, while Ferrari has fallen behind a bit. As in Canada the BMW team is showing another strong performance again as Vettel and Heidfeld ended today's free practice in second and fifth.
