In only his seventh race in Formula 1 Lewis Hamilton claimed his second win and seventh podium position. He kept team-mate Fernando Alonso behind and improved his lead on the Spaniard in the championship. But Hamilton insists that it is too early to think about a possible win of the F1 championship. "My goals in F1 haven't changed. I came to Formula 1 with an open mind and I'm just trying to do a good job," Hamilton said. "We have only completed seven races in the championship, and sure, there is a possibility to win the championship but it is way too early to already think about it.

"At this moment it is important to remain consistent and to keep winning races. We need to win score as many points as possible for the championship and McLaren."
Hamilton finds it hard to believe what a season he may enjoy so far. "At the start of the season I would have hoped to get on the podium at some point, but I've been on the podium for seven times already, it's insane really!"
