Hamilton's kart sells for £42,000

Lewis Hamilton's old go-kart has sold for £42,100 (approx US$80,000) in a charity auction on eBay. The current drivers' championship leader also included the chance to meet him on 21 June with the kart sale.

The proceeds of the go-kart will go to Tommy's, the baby charity. Hamilton used the 80mph vehicle during some of his very first competitive racing experiences.
