Hamilton crashes kart after charity auction

Lewis Hamilton crashed the go-kart that had been sold at a charity auction for £42,000 on Thursday. The 22-year-old championship leader has yet to make a mistake in a Grand Prix but during a demo in the kart around a specially constructed track in central London he lost control after clipping a barrier.

The contact flipped the go-kart around, but Hamilton emerged without injury. The damage to the kart was not at all significant though.
