Hill tells Dennis to enjoy battle

Former F1 champion Damon Hill has urged McLaren boss Ron Dennis to enjoy the rivalry between his two drivers and not try to control the situation too much.

"Ron wants a perfect ending and for it to be harmonious and I can understand that," Hill said. "Some things, however, are impossible to control and that's one of those things. The best thing for Ron would be to enjoy the battle."

"Ron has done incredible things and created a great team with amazing drivers," he added. "But the moment you try to protect it too much, the easier it is for it all to go off."
