Albers unable to finish the season?

According to the Spyker F1 team, Christijan Albers has a sponsor that is not paying its bills. Some speculation suggests it could even mean that Christijan Albers will be replaced at Spyker before the end of the season.

However, Spyker F1 team boss Colin Kolles says that the team is still trying to resolve the matter and a decision has not yet been made. "Nothing has been decided yet," Kolles told GPUpdate.net on Albers' position in the team. "Yes, there is a problem with one of the sponsors, but at this moment we are looking at the options. We consider our options and hope to solve this matter as soon as possible. It's only Monday so we didn't even have time yet to discuss this properly."

The Spyker Formula 1 team will travel from Silverstone to Spa-Francorchamps for a three-day test session. Spyker test driver Giedo van der Garde will be in the car on Tuesday, followed by Albers and Sutil on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.
