Kimi Raikkonen's chief engineer Chris Dyer says Ferrari needs to score one-two finishes in order to make progress cutting into McLaren's championship lead.
"The last two races show we're there, obviously to get back in the championship we need to do better and get one-twos so there's still a lot of work to be done," Dyer said after seeing Raikkonen drive to his third win of the season.
Dyer went on to say that it looks like Ferrari won courtesy of the fact its car was easier on the tyres than McLaren.
"It looks like we were just quicker at Silverstone and we had a bit of an advantage with tyre degradation," he added. "We saw in the middle stint Fernando was able to build a gap at the start, but we had a bit more fuel on board and when his tyres started to go off we were able to start gaining, still with some more fuel on board."
