Kolles: It's been a difficult decision

Following the announcement of the Spyker Formula 1 team where the team announced that it has end its contract with Christijan Albers the team's boss, Colin Kolles, has said the decision has not been easy.

"This has been a very difficult decision," Kolles said about ending Christijan Albers' contract with the Spyker Formula 1 team. "Christijan has started to find some form in the car, but the team's ambitious development programme has been seriously compromised by non-payment by one of his sponsors and we are faced with no other option."

The team has said it will soon announce the driver that will replace Albers at the upcoming German Grand Prix.
