Sutil speaks out on possible new team-mate

Speaking about the situation inside the team with Christijan Albers Sutil told GPUpdate.net: "I don't know too much about the exact situation. I just got the information that he was out. It was surely a surprise and it's not the best thing a team can do during a season. I don't know why they did it, but I believe it had something to do with a sponsor."
"It's quite sad for him, because in the last race he was very competitive and we push each other very hard. But in the end it doesn't matter, the next driver will come and I will have to try and beat him again. Maybe there is another (positive) side to it, maybe a new driver will help the team."
Honda's test and reserve driver Christian Klien will be testing with the Spyker F1 team today, Thursday, and Sutil believes the Austrian could be very valuable to the team. "He has a lot of experience," said Sutil. "He was at Jaguar, Red Bull. He knows better cars and hopefully he will help us a lot. I think he is a strong driver."
There are two types of drivers Spyker could now hire. A driver that brings in a lot of cash or a driver that brings racing experience into the team. Sutil hopes the team will pick an experienced driver for his own sake. "For me it would be nice if I had a team mate who is fast. One I can really fight with and I'd have to do a perfect lap to beat him. But if there's a driver that has a lot of money, he can help the team in another way. But for me, a good team-mate will help if I want to learn and get better and better as a driver."
Sutil furthermore said: "I think Christijan will be missed, especially in the beginning. He was at Midland last year, so he knows everyone in the team. But time will tell if he'll also be missed in the long term."
