Nigel Stepney says he is ready to sit down with Ferrari team bosses and prove that he has done nothing wrong, despite all the legal action currently under way.
Ferrari is taking legal action against Stepney claiming he supplied confidential information about its cars to McLaren chief designer Mike Coughlan. Italian police are also looking into accusations that Stepney may have been responsible for a white powder that was found in Ferrari's fuel tanks prior to the Monaco Grand Prix.
"I'm ready to speak to Jean Todt and president Montezemolo," Stepney was quoted as saying by his laywers in the Gazzetta dello sport. "I want to clear up my position with Ferrari and let everyone understand that it's nothing to do with me and I want to reveal some names of people inside Ferrari who had more interest than me in doing what I'm unfairly accused of."
