Super Aguri drivers able to complete planned programmes

The Super Aguri drivers, Anthony Davidson and Takuma Sato, were both satisfied with the work they could complete in today's two free practice sessions. They both were able to complete the scheduled test programme even though rain disturbed today's second free practice session.

Anthony Davidson said about today's job: "We were quite lucky with the weather today. The F1 sessions managed to miss the downpour at midday and we were able to work on our dry car balance. Obviously with the expected rain in the afternoon everyone worked on the balance of their cars heavily in the first session and we looked at the longer runs especially. I am happy with balance of car, I think we all did a good job today and all went smoothly."

Takuma Sato was also satisfied. He commented: "Because we knew that it was going to rain in the afternoon we had a busy morning session, which is unusual as the track is always green in the morning. The car performed reasonably well and I was happy enough with the balance to go into the normal Friday tyre comparison runs. We were lucky in the afternoon that the circuit dried very quickly after the lunchtime rain and we were able to complete another dry session, collected interesting data. Hopefully we can improve tomorrow again as today we ran reasonably well."
