Ferrari's Felipe Massa is wearing black bands on his helmet and arm in memory of those who died aboard the plane that crashed at Sao Paulo's Congonha airport. A reported 200 people died in Massa's native Brazil as a result of the crash - the worst in the country's aviation history.
"It's a difficult moment for my country," the Sao Paulo-born driver said in the press conference after qualifying for the European Grand Prix.
"I want to try to do something good for the country. That's why I put it on my helmet and arm."
