McLaren expects Lewis Hamilton to be able to race in tomorrow's race after his crash in qualifying. Although nothing will be confirmed until he has undergone observation for a couple of hours, the team's directors believe that there is a good possibility he will be fit for the European Grand Prix.

It took track doctors 20 minutes to check the 22-year-old before putting him on a stretcher and transporting him to the circuit's medical centre. He will remain there for observation as a precaution after initial checks revealed that there were no serious injuries and thus no need to take him to hospital.
McLaren team prinicpal Ron Dennis said: "I think he's just a little shaken and we are just being careful. He is in good shape so maybe, just maybe, he can race tomorrow."
Chief operating officer Martin Whitmarsh told the ITV: "The early indications are that he should be ok for tomorrow's race."
