Wurz fastest on final day at Jerez

Wurz fastest on final day at Jerez

26 July 2007 / Results / Photos

Williams driver Alex Wurz wrapped up this week's Jerez test as the fastest driver. While McLaren was fastest on the first and second day, the Williams team showed its pace on the third and final day. Wurz was just ahead of Kubica, De la Rosa and Barrichello.

Testing continued on Thursday in the south of Spain under hot conditions. Toyota driver Jarno Trulli was not too happy with the high temperatures. He said: "With the track temperatures being so high its very difficult to collect data. We still managed to collect at least a bit of data for the Hungarian Grand Prix as it will be probably pretty hot there too."

Most teams worked on their aerodynamics today in preparation for the upcoming Hungarian Grand Prix.

The next test session will take place in Monza, Italy, at the end of August.
