Alonso happy with fourth
05 August 2007 / Results / PhotosFernando Alonso seemed reasonably happy to have salvaged fourth place in the Hungarian Grand Prix after he was demoted to sixth on the grid. The reigning champion pulled out some exciting overtaking moves in the opening laps after he lost two places and had to fight his way back up, but from then on found himself stuck in the dirty air of Ralf Schumacher and later Nick Heidfeld.
"Nearly on the podium but not enough," Alonso said. "I was quicker than Nick, but the same thing happened as with Ralf that you're stuck behind for many laps and not able to overtake. Difficult race being behind people all race losing downforce but we did a good race from where we were on the grid."
