Kimi upbeat after 'boring' race

05 August 2007 / Results / Photos

Kimi Raikkonen revealed that he grew fed up of following Lewis Hamilton's gearbox for most of the 70-lap race but is encouraged that the Ferrari car is improving on the slower circuits such as the Hungaroring. The Finn is now 20 points behind Hamilton in the standings but remains confident about his chances for the title.

"It was a kind of boring race to just wait behind and wait for a mistake," Raikkonen admitted. "We are not quick enough during qualifying in these kind of circuits but in the race we have improved. There are many races to go - one bad race and things can change quickly."
