Ferrari aims for perfection in final races
23 August 2007Ferrari is aiming for perfection in each of the final six races of the season at the Italian team bids to overhaul a 19-point gap in the constructors' championship and 20-point gap in the drivers' battle.
According to the team's technical director, Mario Almondo, the team must not make any of the mistakes it has made in races so far this season, not least the refuelling mistake on Felipe Massa's car in qualifying at the Hungaroring.
"We have to do well, not only this weekend in Turkey but also at all the remaining events this season if we really want to win both championships," Almondo was quoted as saying by Autosport. "We have the potential to win all ther aces, but in order to do that we have to be perfect."
"The car has shown itself to be competitive more or less everywhere from the start of the season," he added. "We have confidence in our potential, but we're aware that we're up against very stiff competition."
