Tonio Liuzzi remains hopeful that he can land a new F1 ride after being ditched by Scuderia Toro Rosso. Top of his list is a role with the Williams F1 team he tested for several years ago.
"I think I've got a good chance for next season," Liuzzi told reporters at Istanbul. "I'd say I have a 60-70 per cent chance I'll still be in F1."
"Toro Rosso didn't work out for me but it was a good experience in any case," he added. "I think it helped me grow up a lot. I feel I'm now really ready to show what I can do."
Looking at the current driver market he added, "At the moment everything is a bit on standby because I think Alonso's future will change the field and that's normal for a world champion."
