Lauda tells Alonso to stop moaning

27 August 2007

Former F1 champion and ex-team boss Niki Lauda has told Fernando Alonso to stop moaning and get on with the business of catching Lewis Hamilton on the race track.

"Alonso is using all kinds of excuses," Lauda told the BBC. "Instead of complaining and moaning Alonso needs to concentrate on driving faster."

"I'm worried that if he continues to find reasons somewhere else, and not in his right foot, he'll lose out because Hamilton is doing a perfect job," Lauda added. "Hamilton is simply concentrating on his driving and he's quick. That's what Alonso should do."
