De la Rosa fastest on final day at Monza
31 August 2007Pedro de la Rosa finished fastest as McLaren continued to lead a rain-soaked test session at Monza in Italy. Nine teams stayed on for an extra day of running following the disruption caused on Thursday by rain, but woke up to more of the wet stuff this morning.

The circuit did eventually dry out after lunch when the sun came out and temperatures went up. De la Rosa ended on top but was just 0.004s ahead of Ferrari's Felipe Massa. Robert Kubica confirmed BMW's pace with the third fastest time, less than 0.3s behind the McLaren.
The only red flags came when Liuzzi and Ralf Schumacher stopped on track late in the afternoon. Williams, Honda, Toro Rosso, Toyota, Red Bull and Super Aguri were the other teams who stayed on today.
