Wurz expects close racing at Spa

Wurz expects close racing at Spa

11 September 2007

Alexander Wurz is looking forward to travel to Belgium this weekend for the final European race of the season. Formula 1 will return at the famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit after a year of absence. According to Williams driver Alexander Wurz it can be a very competitive and close weekend at Spa.

"Spa is a fantastic racetrack so I'm very much looking forward to racing there," said Wurz. "In terms of performance, I'm not really sure what we can expect. We tested there a few weeks ago, but it's difficult to tell how we will go in the race, but I think it'll probably be pretty close again. As a team, we'll go there with high hopes following Nico's sixth place in Monza. If we can secure some more points, we'll help to strengthen fifth in the Constructors' Championship for the team and that's my goal for the race."
