
The World Motor Sport Council has decided McLaren Formula One Team will be excluded from the 2007 constructors' championship. The team's drivers will be able to continue their battle for the drivers' championship though. The team was furthermore fined for 100 million US dollar.
Earlier reports from the hearing in Paris said that the team might even be excluded from the 2007 championship, but the final decision made by the World Motor Sport Council said the team will no longer receiver any points for the constructors' championship. The team will furthermore receive an extraordinary of 100 million US dollar.
