Red Bull Racing driver Mark Webber was finally back in the top 10 again. The Australian showed a strong performance with the Red Bull Racing car and managed to complete the 8th fastest time in the final qualifying round. His team-mate Coulthard had to do with 13th.

Commenting on his qualifying run Webber commented: "I would have liked to have got a little bit more from my last lap, but it's good to qualify eighth at least. We've got a reasonable strategy from there, so we'll see what tomorrow brings. It was a pretty close qualifying session with middle group tight as ever, but we'll do what we can in the race to get some points."

As Kubica will move back from 5th to 15th at the grid Coulthard will move up from 13th to P12 at Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix grid. He didn't have much to say about Saturday's qualifying run: "I was pushing hard on my last run in Q2 and went a little off line, which lost me some time. We'll do what we can from twelfth on the grid tomorrow."
