McLaren end testing on top of timesheets

The McLaren Formula 1 team looks well prepared for the final three rounds of the Formula 1 season. The team's test driver Pedro de la Rosa completed 68 laps without any major problems and set the fastest time of the day on Thursday.

Thursday was the third and final day of testing in the South of Spain. The nine F1 teams at Jerez had three days of action to work on their cars for the upcoming Japanese Grand Prix. The McLaren and Ferrari team were easily fastest, just as it has been all season so far.

The test session was stopped twice today with a red flag, but there were no major incidents.
