Trulli hopes to see some reward at end of season
20 September 2007Toyota driver Jarno Trulli has showed a steady performance in the past few races. In the final three races the Italian hopes to get some reward for the hard work that has been done through-out the season to improve the TF107. At Toyota's home Grand Prix at the Fuji Speedway he hopes to show his best performance.

"In the second half of the season, our true pace has been reasonably competitive but we haven't been able to come away with the results," said Trulli. "Obviously I would like to put that right, starting with Fuji, Toyota's home race. We have seen that we are capable of scoring points but the fight is so close in the midfield that you have to run a nearly perfect race. Everyone has been working just as hard as they always have and I would like the team to see some reward before we go into the winter test programme and turn our thoughts to 2008. If that could start at Fuji, in front of the Japanese fans, it would be great.
The Japanese Grand Prix will be held at Toyota's racetrack in Fuji this year. An important race for the team, who will welcome many special guests and sponsors. "It will be interesting," said Trulli looking ahead of the upcoming race. "I always enjoyed racing at Suzuka but Fuji Speedway is a very historic circuit and it's great to be going there. I'm looking forward to it. As always with a circuit that is new on the schedule it will be a case of gathering data and analysing it efficiently on Friday and Saturday to give us the best possible base for the race. I enjoy the challenge of a new circuit and I am very motivated for the next race."
