Kubica disappointed about first full season

04 October 2007

Even though his BMW Sauber Formula 1 team is in a steady second position in this year's constructors' championship Robert Kubica is disappointed with his first full season in Formula 1 so far. Kubica scored 35 points so far, while his team-mate Nick Heidfeld scored 56 points already.

Speaking about how the Polish driver feels about his first full season in Formula 1 he said on Thursday in Shanghai: "It is pretty disappointing. We have good performance in our car but it looks like we struggled this season to extract 100 per cent of it and on many occasions I think my performance was under the performance of the car and of the whole package."

Robert Kubica enjoyed his first outing in a Formula One car back in December 2005 with the Renault Formula 1 team. He joined BMW Sauber F1 as the team's test driver in 2006 and replaced Jacques Villeneuve in the final six races.
