Hamilton: I did nothing wrong

05 October 2007

Lewis Hamilton is upset with the whole situation that was created after the Japanese Grand Prix. Hamilton has been accused for causing the accident between Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel where Vettel drove into the back of Webber's Red Bull car.

Looking back at the weekend he told reporters in Shanghai: "I had a good weekend, I didn't put a foot wrong really. I didn't do anything to put other drivers in danger. I've come away to China and all of a sudden I'm going to be punished for something.

"I just think it's a real shame for the sport. Formula One is supposed to be about hard, fair competition. That's what I've tried to do this year, just be fair."

The Briton is under investigation of the Stewards that had a talk with him on Friday evening in Shanghai. Hamilton is slightly upset with the current situation. "I'm made to look like the bad person and, by the looks of it, this weekend be given a penalty," Hamilton. "If this is the way it's going to keep going it's not somewhere I want to be."
