The race stewards at the Brazilian Grand Prix are investigating three drivers that might have used two sets of wet weather tyres during Friday's first free practice session. Among those three drivers is F1 title candidate Lewis Hamilton.
According to the FIA sporting regulations article 25.3 no driver may use more than one set of wet and one set of extreme wet weather tyres during free practice one and free practice two. Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button and Takuma Sato are now being investigated over this issue.
The stewards are expected to look into the matter following second practice. At this moment it is still unclear if the three drivers will face a penalty.
