Proud father speaks for Hamilton
21 October 2007 / Results / PhotosAfter seeing his chances of making history slip away at the Brazilian Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton sneaked back into the McLaren motorhome to take in what had happened before facing the world's media.
In his absence, Anthony Hamilton - his father and manager - spoke to a throng of media and insisted there would be no misery in the Hamilton camp.
"None of us are in pain," Hamilton senior told ITV. "Trust me - we feel great. We've just had one of the most fantastic F1 seasons ever. If someone told me we'd have been in this position at the start of the season I would have said they were dreaming but to lose it by one point is no bad thing."
"He may not have won it this year, but he will come back and win it soon - one thing is for sure Lewis Hamilton is here to stay," he concluded.
