Although the new name for the Spyker F1 team - Force India F1 - makes no reference to the half of the team that remains in Dutch hands, co-owner Michiel Mol says the team's image will be good for business and make an exciting proposition for international brands trying to build awareness in India.
"For European companies it will be interesting to deal with our company as the market in India is very large and F1 there will get a major boost and all eyes there will be on our team, so the commercial interest for European companies should be strong to take the next step in India," Mol told GPUpdate.net.
"There's now a solid base to make some serious steps forward," he added. "We have a solid base to build on and make our way up the grid. Hopefully we can make progress soon and be fighting consistently in the midfield as a first step."
