23 October 2007

Lewis Hamilton's fight to make history at the Brazilian Grand Prix on Sunday evening drew a record TV audience in the UK with 10.4million people tuning in for the race - or half the total number of people watching TV in Britain on Sunday evening.

F1 races usually draw in 4-5million viewers in the UK. F1 still fell behind the rugby world cup final in which England lost to South Africa. That sporting event drew in 15.8million viewers.
