
Following a meeting of the World Motor Sport Council in Paris today, the FIA has published the official 2008 F1 calendar which confirms that the inaugural Singapore Grand Prix will be a night race - the first in the history of the sport - on 28 September.
The season will kick off in Australia as usual before travelling to Malaysia and Bahrain. The first European round of the season will be at the Spanish Circuit de Catalunya on 27 April. A second Spanish race (formally the European Grand Prix) at Valencia will be held on 24 August.
