The number 101 normally instills fear in people, not least for its significance in George Orwell's 1984, but for BMW motorsport director Mario Theissen, it is his new favourite number.
"101 is the new magical number of the team now," Theissen said. "Maybe we will paint that number on the wall in Hinwil. Obviously, it is great to perform so well in the final race of such a strong season."
The BMW Sauber F1 Team managed to exceed all expectations in 2007 by collecting points in all 17 season races, achieving two podium finishes and establishing itself as the third force in F1.
"The memory of this achievement will last through the whole winter," Theissen added. "I am really happy for the entire team."
