Red Bull's Renault man looking forward to 08
26 October 2007Red Bull Racing's engine man from Renault says motivation is high for 2008, but that everyone is busy relaxing after a frantic season that saw the team show flashes of lightning pace, finish fifth in the championship, but rue a number of non-engine related failures that cost it the chance of being higher.
"Both drivers had new V8s and that helped us get into the top ten in qualifying. After that, we didn't have any engine problems during the weekend," said Red Bull's Renault man Fabrice Lom. "I think everybody's highly motivated for 2008. But we've had a very tough season and it's essential to recharge our batteries before tackling next year. At present, it's necessary to relax a little."
Renault continues to supply Red Bull Racing with engines in 2008.
