The Formula 1 teams returned from their holidays after last month's Brazilian Grand Prix for a week of testing at Circuit de Catalunya. Every Formula One team is present at the track near Barcelona for a three-day test.

A new face in the paddock is Force India F1. The new name for Spyker F1's team will run with a temporary livery in Spain. The team will have five different drivers in its cars this week.
At Red Bull Racing GP2 driver Karun Chandhok will face his Formula 1 debut. He will be testing with the team on Tuesday and Wednesday.

At Ferrari Michael Schumacher will return in a Formula 1 car. The seven-time world champion will be testing with the Ferrari F1 team on Tuesday and Wednesday.
