Zuber hopes to become Honda's test driver

On Tuesday Andreas Zuber enjoyed his first miles in a Formula 1 car. The Honda Formula 1 team invited the GP2 driver for a day of testing at Circuit de Catalunya. He hopes to show his capabilities and win a contract as the team's test driver for next season.

"I actually don't expect this to be a one time opportunity," Zuber told Austrian newspaper Kleine Zeitung. "Honda is searching for development drivers at the moment and it would be useless if they would only be using me for one single day. The team is searching for two test drivers. There are three drivers being tested this week (Zuber, Filippi and Conway) and two of us will get the job."
