Britain's last world champion, Damon Hill has warned Lewis Hamilton not to get too excited about the prospect of becoming champion after McLaren's appeal on Thursday as he expects it to fail.
"I think it's very, very unlikely that will happen," Hill told Reuters. "We know who the 2007 champion is."
"I think it's worth McLaren having a go, at least just to establish a principle, but I don't think it will change anything," he added.
The FIA International Court of Appeal meets today to hear McLaren's appeal against the decision by Brazilian Grand Prix stewards not to exclude the BMW and Williams cars for a fuel irregularity.
