The Williams team has remained quiet throughout the McLaren appeal, but following the announcement of the FIA's International Court of Appeal that the appeal had been thrown out, the Williams team issued the following statement welcoming the decision.
"Williams F1 welcomed the findings of the FIA's International Court of Appeal," the team's statement read. "The outcome of the hearing means that the steward's decision in Brazil in relation to this matter remains in force and valid. The Williams team did not transgress the regulations, demonstrate any intent or gain any competitive advantage in relation to the management of its race fuels."
