The Toyota Formula 1 team is the first team to announce its launch date. The team will reveal its TF108 on Wednesday, 10 January 2008 at the team's technical centre in Cologne, Germany.
Toyota began its Formula 1 adventure in 2002 when it scored two points. It enjoyed its best season so far in 2005. The team's results went down in 2006 and 2007 was even worse for the team. The 2008 Formula One season should be a season where the team can prove it is on its way back to the top. With one of the biggest budget in the paddock the Japanese manufacturer is keen on winning its first race in F1 rather sooner than later.
